🎃 How My Pumpkin Lost Its Stem
First grade wrote short stories about how their pumpkins lost their stems - a few pumpkins were dropped off the farm truck, ate by a goat and a couple others were playing with scissors !
Big thank you to Kroul Farms for donating over 75 stemless pumpkins to our first graders to decorate after they wrote their stories !
We are thrilled to announce that we will be doing Breakfast with a Buddy this year in 3 installments, by no means do you have to participate in them all but you are more than welcome to! Our first breakfast with a buddy will be next month on November 14th you can see the details in our flyer below! Breakfast will be similar to last year as you will be provided with a muffin or oatmeal bar, juice, milk, crackers, and fruit. KA & 3A paired up yesterday to celebrate and share their personal narratives stories! They were also able to buddy read a good book! We love learning collaboratively.
3rd graders visited Dan and Debbie's yesterday and today to learn about the farm to table process of cheese curds and ice cream. They finished their tour with a sweet treat. Learning can happen anywhere!
Today Lakeview got a special visit from the Solon Fire Department. Students learned about fire safety, got to ask questions and see the truck up close. Thanks to the Solon Fire Department for a fun morning!

Mrs. Vogel's class played boomwhackers in Music today. They were focusing on keeping the beat, playing their assigned part and working together to create a beautiful sound! Next week students will work on playing two parts at the same time.
