We have some real experts on a variety of topics... from fishing, to how to throw a party, to how to care for a pet... these kiddos can teach it all!

After Spring Break, 3 2nd grade classroom and music were able to move into their new spaces as we finished phase 1 of the construction project. We are so excited to learn in these new beautiful spaces.

Thank you to all of the students, parents, grandparents and community members who came to school last week to read to students during Read Across America week! 🇺🇸
We loved listening to a multitude of stories and sharing a love of reading.
Each month Lakeview students take part in taste tests done by Kendalyn in our Nutrition Department. These tastings offer students the opportunity to learn about and try fruits, vegetables or menu items offered during breakfasts and lunches at school. This month students are trying tomatoes and salsa.
Thank you Solon Nutrition Department for offering these experiences for our students.
The other half of kindergarten had perfect weather for their field trip to Wikiup today. Hands on learning is the best!

Today we read with our buddy classrooms and had a few visitors from the Johnson County Sheriffs Department read to our preschool classrooms. We've loved America Reads Week.
We have another member in the Birthday Book Club! This kiddo celebrated his birthday by donating a book to the Lakeview Library. Check out our March newsletter to learn how your child can celebrate in this way too!
Yesterday half of our kindergarteners went to Wikiup Nature Center to enhance their science unit on animals and trees. We also had fun reading with flashlights in the building! Another great day of learning at Lakeview!
