Re:       Return To learn Plan

On June 2nd an update was provided to the community on the district’s Return to Learn Plan for the upcoming school year.  Since then a 38-member district team consisting of administrators, teachers, counselors, nurses, and directors worked diligently to develop a comprehensive plan. The plan addressed the required state scenarios: 1) Onsite learning, 2) Hybrid learning, and 3) Required home learning.  We focused our plan on safety, academics, supports, mental health, and technology.

We are planning for a full return of students and staff to onsite learning on Monday, August 24th, but are prepared to implement other scenarios or combination if necessary.

We are currently finalizing our plan with the most updated guidance from the Department of Public Health, Department of Education and Governor Reynolds and having continued conversations with various stakeholder groups to gain additional feedback prior to release.  Our plan will be communicated district-wide through the website, app and email on July 20th (Monday).

Stay safe and enjoy your summer
