Alina Steele has been named a semifinalist in the 72nd annual National Merit Scholarship Program, giving her an opportunity to compete for 6,700 National Merit Scholarships worth nearly $24 million that will be offered next spring.
Alina is among more than 16,000 academically talented high school seniors nationwide selected as National Merit semifinalists.
