Lakeview Feature Teacher: Elise Arneson
Mrs. Elise Arneson is one of our fantastic kindergarten teachers at Lakeview. After professional learning with her team earlier this fall, Mrs. Arneson jumped in to continue her learning and application. Mrs. Arnson and the instructional coach have had ongoing meetings to continue learning and planning the best ways to support her students letter and high frequency word work. They have focused on linking student learning to anchors. Mrs. Arneson has worked to consistently utilize the letter chart as an anchor for students and has worked with poetry and shared reading as anchors for high frequency words. She and the instructional coach have also continued to learn together by working through self-guided online modules on the topics of her work.She always considers and responds to the needs of her students, and is always thinking of how to best support them. Mrs. Arneson's level of commitment to learning and growth makes Lakeview better!
