The Solon Community School District had several reports from parents/guardians and staff members that text and phone notifications were not delivered on Friday, February 20, to announce the weather-related two-hour school delay. After speaking with our emergency notifications vendor, Apptegy, we learned that their communications platform, Thrillshare, was working properly, but US Cellular was "incorrectly processing incoming messages". Apptegy representatives worked with US Cellular to resolve the issue, and notifications should be delivered correctly going forward.

To add, update, or remove emergency notification phone numbers and email addresses, log into the PowerSchool Parent Portal to update annual registration forms. Please contact your student's school office if you have any problems logging into PowerSchool or updating information.
