IT TAKES A VILLAGE

As I grow in my career, and in life, I realize more and more the importance of having a strong support system. The roles of educator, parent, and spouse demand a great deal and it is only possible with a strong support team by my side. I am fortunate to have so many individuals on my ever growing team. I appreciate the guidance, feedback, and encouragement that they each bring to the table because without them I could not accomplish any of my professional or personal goals. So, I'd like to take a few minutes to write a thank you to my support system because I recognize how lost I would be without them.

Thank you to the Solon District and School Board for believing in me and supporting me through this first year as principal. Thank you to my admin team for your reflection and guidance. Thank you to the SIS staff for the dedication and optimism you bring to each day. Thank you to the parents and students who have provided me with valuable feedback and the opportunity to continue to grow this amazing culture that was started in this building by the previous principal, Zach Wigle. Thank you to my husband and children for being flexible with me every step of the way. Thank you for supporting and loving me through it all. Thank you to our wonderful PTO for supporting my efforts in trying to provide events for SIS. Thank you for being patient with me and for working so hard for our staff and students. Thank you to Brooke Henning and the PTO board for making today's staycation possible for SIS students. Thank you for planning every detail to ensure that students have the best time possible! Today's event would not have been possible without you!

Forever grateful,

Mrs. Tabor
