Title I services are provided to students in grades 1-4 in individual or small groups as supports for general education classroom reading instruction. Eligible students in first grade receive Title I services through Reading Recovery model. Informal reading assessments are used to assess phonemic awareness, sight word knowledge, oral fluency rate, and comprehension.

A process including teachers, families, students and community representatives determined roles and responsibilities to support student success in school and in life. The Solon Community School District Parent Compact identifies roles and responsibilities that we as partners will carry out to support student success.
