With the changing of seasons comes the anticipation for potential winter weather that may require the school district to alter the start or end times of the school day or even cancel classes. In preparation, the Solon Community School District will be testing its notification system today, Monday, November 2nd.
The district will be sending a TEST message through all notification formats through the district's Apptegy application and website, which include phone message, text message, live feed, Twitter, Facebook, push notification via the district's app, and website.
If you do not receive or know of someone who did not receive any of these notifications, please review the contact information documented within PowerSchool. The Apptegy notification applications pull email and phone number information from the PowerSchool Parent/Guardian Email, Phone, and Text Message Notifications page.
Go to <Forms> (listed on left menus bar) go to <1 - Student Information> scroll down to Parent/Guardian Email, Phone, and Text Message Notifications. Update any contact information you would like to receive notifications through.
